Like all bodies, its energy-structure is defined through seven principal centres, each vibrating in turn at an increasingly faster rate. This vibratory rate manifests as coloured light, from infra-red, through orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and finally through to ultra-violet. These seven chakra colours correspond exactly to the colours used by the Sydney Ferries to define each separate route.\" Narrated by the artist himself, the video features a collection of site specific performances by Domenico de Clario. Domenico studied Architecture in Melbourne and Painting in Italy before he evolved as a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice includes installation, visual and sound-performances as well as writing. He has published two volumes of poems and 4 CD's, and in the last decade his performances have been based on a series of original translations he has made of writers such as Eugenio Montale and Italo Calvino. Great opportunity to gain an insight to artistic processes and to witness the unique way performance arts conceptualizes text, place, colour, sound, light and \"beyond invisible\". Domenico de Clario has exhibited and performed in the U.S., Europe, South America and Asia, as well as in the major art institutions throughout Australia. He has presented his works at numerous Festivals and Biennales such as PIAF, the Adelaide Festival of the Arts, the Melbourne International Festival and the inaugural Liverpool Biennial. He was responsible for the thematic structure of the Venice Carnevale of 2000 and therein presented a 7-part performance based on Calvino's 'Invisible Cities'. He is represented in all major public and private collections in Australia, as well as in the MOMA in New York.
