The London Symphony Orchestra 2024 Collection consists of 16 recent and fully exclusive filmed performances from one of the world’s leading orchestras. This collection showcases live performances from the LSO’s 2024/2025 season with performances including Sir Simon Rattle conducting Janáček's Jenůfa (2024), Barbara Hannigan conducting Vivier, Haydn & Bartók (2025), and Sir Antonio Pappano conducting Mahler’s Symphony No.1 (2024).

Highlights of this collection:

• Experience Sir Simon Rattle’s critically-acclaimed production of Janáček's Jenůfa (2024). Rattle takes this deeply emotional opera and strips it down - removing costuming and staging - until the music’s folk rhythms, orchestration and emotional depth shine through. Features operatic performances from Agneta Eichenholz, Katarina Karnéus, Aleš Briscein and Nicky Spence.
• Watch Barbara Hannigan conduct and sing in the genre-defying concert: Vivier, Haydn & Bartók (2025). Inspired by mysteries and myths, Hannigan pulls together a program spanning classical gems like Haydn’s Symphony no. 39, to gritty, modern compositions like Béla Bartók’s The Miraculous Mandarin. This concert also features Gareth Davies, LSO Principal Flute, performing Debussy’s Syrinx.
• Stream Sir Antonio Pappano conducting Mahler’s Symphony No.1 (2024) in one of his most thrilling and theatrical performances to date. Drawing on his operatic background, Pappano invokes the nostalgic and lush beauty of the countryside and builds the intensity to a triumphant finale featuring a heart-racing standing horn section.
